Registration Fee & Refund Structure

Per-Auction Base Deposit

The base registration fee is configured per auction by platform administrators (e.g. ₹499 base, ₹1,000 base, or custom amount). At checkout, an 18% statutory Goods & Services Tax (GST) is calculated and collected.

Refundable Amount

100% Base Fee

e.g. ₹499.00 refunded to eligible accounts

Non-Refundable Portion

18% GST

e.g. ₹89.82 statutory government tax

When a participant becomes eligible for a refund under our rules, only the base registration fee entered for that auction will be refunded. The 18% GST amount is non-refundable as it is statutory tax remitted directly to tax authorities.

Refund Eligibility Criteria

Only customers who submitted valid quotes during active offering rounds are considered for a refund. Participants who paid the registration fee but placed no quotes do not receive a refund.

check_circleWithin 1% of Winning Offer Margin

A deposit refund is issued only to non-winning participants whose highest quoted amount is within 1% (≤ 1% difference) of the declared final winning amount.

check_circleTop 50% Quoters Cap

When all (or multiple) participants quote within the 1% margin of the winning amount, only the top 50% highest quoters among them (ranked by highest quote descending) receive the deposit refund.

check_circleUnsold / Cancelled Auctions

If an auction concludes without any bids or is cancelled by the platform, all paid participants are eligible for the base registration fee refund.

Refund is NOT applicable when:

cancelThe customer is declared the winning buyer of the auction.
cancelThe customer paid the registration fee but did not submit any valid quote during active offering rounds.
cancelThe customer's quote is more than 1% below the final winning offer price.
cancelThe customer's quote ranks outside the top 50% highest quoters when multiple participants qualify under the 1% margin.
cancelThe statutory 18% GST portion paid at checkout, which is remitted directly to government tax authorities.
cancelThe customer provides false or incomplete registration details.

Refund Process & Timeline

1. Initiation: When an auction ends, eligible accounts are evaluated automatically and a Razorpay refund for the base registration fee is initiated. The status changes to Refund Initiated.

2. Verification: Our background system synchronizes Razorpay settlement updates periodically until the gateway confirms that the funds have been settled.

3. Confirmation: Once credited, the status is updated to Refunded and an automated confirmation notification is emailed to your registered email address.

4. Credit Timeline: Refunds typically reflect in your bank account or original payment method within 1–3 business days depending on your bank and Razorpay settlement cycles.
